Carla Reece

Director, Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist

Carla Reece is a Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist with over 30 years’ experience of working with children and families. She has worked in drug and alcohol settings, with eating disorders, in the criminal justice system, in education, with looked after and adopted children and their families, within specialist CAMHS services, and in an NHS Infant Mental Health Team. She is trained to work effectively with parents and families and uses a PACE based parenting approach. Her model includes using Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity and Empathy to support families, with a dash of humour included! Carla is trained to use ADOS-2, ADI-R, Migdas, Young Diva and ACE to assess and identify both Autism and ADHD/ADD. She is passionate about delivering a person centred, respectful and neuro-affirmative approach in her work with clients and their families. She is the founder and director of GAC.

Dr Triveni Joshi

Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist

Dr Triveni Joshi is a leading consultant psychiatrist who specialises in child and adolescent psychiatry. She has over 20 years worth of experience in psychiatry and over 14 years working with children and their families. Her areas of expertise include mood disorders, anxiety disorder including OCD, psychosis, childhood emotional and behaviour problems and Neurodevelopmental conditions such as ADHD and Autism. 

Dr Joshi has extensive experience working in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) and in children’s services. She has both clinical and service development experience in areas of community-based CAMHS and CAMHS intellectual disability services, specialist ASC schools and CAMHS tier 4 inpatient units.

Dr Rebecca Andrews

Practitioner Psychologist

Rebecca is a HCPC Registered Practitioner Psychologist with extensive experience of working with children and their families.

Her experiences are based on working with complex cases, vulnerable families, children and adults. She has experience working in educational and residential settings with challenging behaviours, learning disabilities, emotional and behavioural needs and mental health presentations. Through her private practice she is proud to provide both ongoing and time limited input to a range of services including The NHS, Local Health Boards and Local Authorities in England and Wales, as well as various private and charitable settings. She has experience with Child In Need and Looked After Children services, foster care, mental health facilities within Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Bristol, Worcestershire and South Wales. Rebecca is trained and experienced in both ADOS-2 and ADI-R assessments.

Hannah

Integrative Psychotherapist

Hannah is a qualified Integrative Psychotherapist registered with BACP. She is also qualified to deliver animal assisted psychotherapy, EMDR and DBT therapy. Hannah is a clinical supervisor, having completed training recognised by the British Psychological Society and is a member of the EMDR Association UK. She has over 30 years’ experience of working therapeutically with adults, children & young people.

Dr Anastasia Tsakiri

Consultant Psychiatrist

Consultant Psychiatrist in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Postgraduate Diploma in Forensic Psychiatry, MBChB, CCT CAMHS, ASRCPsych, MD
I have worked as a Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist in the NHS and in the private practice for over 9 years. I am Specialist Associate Member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists and a member of British Association of Psychopharmacology. I am working currently as a Locum Consultant in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, with the Neurodevelopment team in an NHS trust. I have a special interest in interventional psychiatry using TMS therapy in young people with resistant emotional difficulties and severe depression. I am a member of International Clinical TMS society and Lead Clinician of the TMS Treatment in Adolescents Affinity Group.

I am passionate about helping young people and their families deal with the challenges of mental health as well as other complexities that young people are faced with. My specialised training in Systemic Therapy and family dynamics has enabled me to develop a bespoke approach to support parents and families with complex needs. I am ADOS , 3Di and QB trained and I provide assessment and management of difficulties related to ADHD, ASD, OCD , Anxiety and Depression and Behavioural and Emotional Difficulties. I am aware of how important it is to provide a safe and encouraging space for my patients and their families. I believe in having a non-judgmental and empathetic approach to create a therapeutic relationship that will enable my young patients to feel comfortable, listen to and help them to move forward and thrive.

Tori Gunn

Speech & Language Therapist

Tori is a Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist with over 14 years’ experience working with children and families. She has a BA (Hons) in Linguistics from Swansea University and a Masters of Medical Science in Human Communication Sciences from The University of Sheffield. Tori has worked across Gloucestershire as an independent Speech and Language Therapist and for the NHS, as well as in Singapore at Asia’s most highly regarded private clinic. 

She is registered with the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists, Health Care Professionals Council and Association of Speech and Language Therapists in Independent Practice. She is trained and experienced in ADOS-2 assessments.  Tori has extensive experience supporting children with a wide range of Speech, Language and Communication needs.

Claudi Williams

Administrator

Claudia is a long-term resident of Gloucestershire and has worked as an operations manager in educational settings for many years. She says: “I am a good listener and love attention to detail. I want our clients at GAC to have the best experience from the very first time they contact us.” Claudia has two grown sons and lives with her husband in the countryside.
