This diagnosis, that would have taken years through the NHS, can now ensure she has access to support to help her adapt to the world around from an earlier stage. It was never about a label, it was about getting a support system in place to avoid potential mental health issues, the team were so understanding of this, they provided so many different ideas and links to resources that we weren’t aware of and that actually have a positive impact.
